Has Dudu Zuma Gone Far Enough? Look at the Note She Drops in Cyril's Box
Some ANC members, including Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, are upset with her because they believe she insulted President Cyril Ramaphosa too much.
It is "disgusting," according to Dudu Zuma, that President Cyril Ramaphosa has brought up Steve Biko at all. During the apartheid government, she claims he betrayed the cause by telling the authorities that he was brainwashed by fellow workers with communist ideals.
When they were sent to Robben Island, Cyril managed to convince the apartheid regime that he was not part of the comrades who were fighting against apartheid, but that they were rather brainwashing him. Even Congress of the People president Mosioua Lekota shared these sentiments in Parliament.
This, according to Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, is why President Cyril Ramaphosa has no right to bring up the life and death of Steve Biko, a victim of the apartheid state. Zuma has demanded Ramaphosa's resignation and has even suggested that he step down immediately.
"When do you plan to officially step down? Bringing up our hero Steve Niko's name in that way is repulsive. You betrayed the cause of the revolution by claiming that your fellow fighters brainwashed you. In other words, you're trying to sell out right now "remarked Dudu Zuma, who was criticizing Ramaphosa.
As a result of Dudu Zuma's comments, supporters of Cyril Ramaphosa came out swinging, advising her to return to Mozambique, where she was born, if she is unhappy with Ramaphosa's presidency.
"No matter how you feel, he is still the president of the United States and will not be retiring. You should probably return to Mozambique if you don't like him being president "claims were made by some, others argued.
"We will not be fooled by your nonsensical tweets regarding the president. Even your dad had his flaws, "People showed up to support Ramaphosa, who was attacked.
Despite this, dissenters predict that the ruling party will be given a lesson it will never forget in 2024 while its members are too busy fighting amongst themselves to campaign.
